Tonight’s Grizzlies vs. Nuggets matchup in Denver features the highest total of the five-game NBA slate at 235.5.

The Grizzlies are slight road favorites as there are key injuries on the Nuggets side to monitor. Nikola Jokic is listed as probable, Jamal Murray is questionable, Michael Porter Jr. is doubtful, and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope is also questionable. Despite this uncertainty, both teams have struggled on the defensive side all season and have enough firepower to put up big numbers.

Grizzlies vs. Nuggets Same Game Parlay Odds & Pick

The Parlay: (+360)

  • Nikola Jokic Over 27.5 Points (+115)
  • Dillion Brooks 3+ Three Pointers Made (+120)
  • Nikola Jokic Over 27.5 (+115)

The Nuggets offense ranks second in Offensive Efficiency (117.7) as they are on pace to finish with a top-10 most efficient offense in the NBA for the seventh straight season. They have the highest Effective Field Goal percentage in the NBA at 58.1% and led the league in this statistic last season at 55.9%. They are averaging 115.8 points per game, including 122.7 points per game over their last three contests.

Nikola Jokic is the engine of their incredible offense, and he has been on fire recently as he has scored 30 or more points in four of his last five games. Expect that success to continue in what projects to be an offensive explosion as these two teams meet up.

Dillion Brooks 3+ Three Pointers Made (+120)

On the other hand, the Nuggets have the third-least efficient defense as they have a Defensive Rating of 116.3 this season while allowing the second-highest Effective Field Goal percentage (56.7%).

They have been particularly vulnerable from beyond the arc as they have allowed the eighth-most 3-pointers and rank in the bottom five in opponent 3-point percentage at 37.8%.

This is a great spot for the Grizzlies’ Dillion Brooks who has been shooting the ball well from 3-point range. He’s shooting an identical 37% on both above- and below-the-break 3s this season with a 25.5% Usage Rate (which ranks in the 86th percentile among NBA wings).

He’s been particularly aggressive from beyond the arc recently as he’s amassed 10 or more 3-point attempts in four of his last seven games overall. The Grizzlies will need all the offense they can get to keep up with Jokic and the Nuggets, and Brooks should find himself open quite a bit from beyond the arc.
