Grimes Talked About Communism and AI on TikTok and Everyone is Confused

Grimes sparked a wave of confusion on social media after she claimed artificial intelligence was the fastest path to communism.
Communism is a economic system in which all property and production is owned by the community therefore creating a classless society.
The Canadian singer, real name Claire Boucher, shared her thoughts in an elaborate video, posted on TikTok.
Standing in front of a panel from Japanese manga comic Berserk, she said: “I have a proposition for the communists. So, typically most of the communisms I know are not big fans of A.I. But, if you think about it, A.I is actually the fastest path to communism.”
The “Genesis” hitmaker went on to speak about moving society to a place where no one is required to work.
“A.I could automate all the farming, weed out systematic corruption, thereby bringing us as close as possible to genuine equality,” she continued. “So basically, everything everybody loves about communism but without the collective farm ’cause, let’s be real, enforced farming is really not a vibe.”
The video, which saw Boucher sporting what appeared to be drawings on her face, was shared on social media and received hundreds of responses from baffled users.
Twitter user @TheGaychelGrimes wrote: “Grimes is a very confused person, I do not understand.
“Grimes is confused as hell she’s gotta have Pisces placements cause girl what,” @sophiaaminata added.
@smalleyhead215 posted: “why is GRIMES of all people talking about communism on tik tok in front of a beserk manga panel.”
Others were further confused by the speech because of the singer’s relationship with Tesla CEO Elon Musk, who she shares a child with.
User @ibvanmat wrote: “@Just to be clear here the girlfriend of a billionaire who is currently vying for the most wealth ever amassed in history is arguing that AI will somehow bring us Communism, thereby forcing her bf to share his wealth with the rest of us? Like, couldn’t he just do that whenever?”
@MisterShovel added: “What does @grimes think about the vibe that communism would have @elonmusk’s wealth entirely confiscated and shared among the people and his industry belonging to the state?”
“Grimes was talking like her baby daddy husband ain’t the capitalist Elon Musk himself…like girl maybe get ur mans on track first and then the rest will follow,” @HuriaTaj tweeted.
@__iamkaylon highlighted that they are now “even more confused” at the fact the pair are dating.
Boucher and Musk, who have been together for over three years, made their red carpet debut at the 2018 Met Gala.
In 2020 the pair announced the arrival of their first child together. The couple left many people confused when it was revealed their son’s name as X X Æ A-12., which the Tesla giant said is pronounced “X Ash A-12.”
Boucher said the “X” was a reference to “the unknown variable” and Æ the Elven spelling of artificial intelligence.
