Gray Gets 7, Onana With 6.5 | Everton Players Rated In Disappointing Loss Vs Manchester United

Onana #Onana

Everton faced off against Manchester United at Old Trafford earlier tonight as they hoped to grind out a good result away from home and secure progression into the next round of the FA Cup. The Toffees made a poor start to the game as they conceded the opening goal in the 4th minute when Antony found the back of the net for Man United. However, Conor Coady equalised for Everton after pouncing on a mistake by David de Gea in the 14th minute. Both teams went into the half-time break with a 1-1 scoreline.

It was Coady who scored an unfortunate own goal for Frank Lampard’s side in the 52nd minute. The visitors tried their best to mount a comeback but conceded another goal in the seventh minute of injury time when Marcus Rashford scored from the penalty spot. The contest ended with the Toffees suffering a 3-1 loss on the road.

Let’s take a look at how each Everton player fared during the match against the Red Devils.

The English keeper made a few decent saves at the back but still ended up shipping in three goals tonight.

CB: Ben Godfrey – 5.5/10

He cleared the danger well at times but was shaky at the back.

CB: Conor Coady – 6/10

It was a match of mixed emotions for Coady as he scored the equaliser in the 14th minute but was also guilty of scoring an own goal early in the second half.
