Govt reaches deal on IR bill and calls for negative gearing reforms – Politics with David Speers and Samantha Maiden

Debate on Labor’s changes to the stage three tax cuts was expected to dominate the first week of Parliament, but the Opposition caved early and agreed to waive the bill through. But calls for negative gearing reform to be back on the table are growing, so will Labor be embolded to consider this?

And the government has also reached a deal to pass the second tranche of its industrial relations legislation.
