Wednesday forecast for Austin: We’ve got good news, y’all! Wednesday will have some pretty perfect weather, according to the National Weather Service.
After a chilly morning with temperatures in the 30s, the Austin area will warm up with sunny skies and a high near 70 degrees, forecasters said.
Nighttime skies will be mostly clear as temperatures fall to a low around 43 degrees.
More temperatures in the 70s are expected on Thursday, according to the weather service’s extended forecast:
Thursday: Mostly sunny with a high near 73. South-southeast winds blowing 5 to 10 mph in the morning could have 20 mph gusts. Partly cloudy at night with a low around 53. South-southeast winds blowing 5 to 10 mph at night will have 20 mph gusts.
Friday: Mostly sunny with a high near 78. South-southwest winds blowing 5 to 10 mph will become north-northwest in the afternoon and will be blowing 10 to 15 mph. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph. Partly cloudy at night with a low around 50. North winds blowing 10 to 15 mph at night will have 20 mph gusts.
Saturday: Partly sunny with a high near 68. North-northeast winds blowing 10 mph will have 20 mph gusts. Mostly cloudy at night with a low around 45.
Sunday: Mostly sunny with a high near 70. Partly cloudy at night with a low around 50.
Monday: Partly sunny with a high near 75. Mostly cloudy at night with a low around 57.
Tuesday: Mostly cloudy with a high near 79.
