Siskin Children’s Institute recently sponsored a networking breakfast to inspire businesses while supporting children with special needs. Duncan Wardle, who headed innovation and creativity at Disney, was the keynote speaker at the “Think Different! Igniting a Culture of Innovation and Creativity” event held at the Westin Hotel earlier this month.
While with Disney, Wardle helped teams at Disney parks, Lucasfilm, Marvel, Pixar, and the imagineering and animation departments to create new storylines and consumer experiences. He now brings his Disney experience to audiences worldwide, delivering speeches, master classes and ideation forums that help people capture unlikely connections.
“This event not only allows us to provide for more children with special needs across the region, but also inspires the attendees to continue to innovate and be creative in their own lives and careers,” said Steffanie Altman, director of development at Siskin Children’s Institute.
