Golden Disc Awards 2021: Is BTS' Jungkook going blonde for ‘Black Swan’ performance? Here's decoding the mystery Jungkook of BTS (@bts.jungkook / Instagram)

Jeon Jung-kook, popularly known as Jungkook, is making hearts swoon with rumors of his mysterious blonde look. The one question on everyone’s minds is: Has the youngest member of the South Korean boy band BTS gone blonde or is it fake news?

For all we know right now, the 23-year-old may flaunt blonde hair during his Golden Disc Awards (GDA) 2021 performance on January 10, 2021, aka Day 2! True or not, the BTS ARMY from all across the globe seems to be losing their minds in hope of witnessing an all-new avatar on stage.

For the unversed, a picture from an unverified source leaked online and started circulating on January 9. In the photo, the K-pop vocalist was seen sporting long blonde hair. Although the BTS ARMY requested fans not to circulate or retweet that picture, speculations of the ‘My Time’ crooner in his new look for a much-coveted ‘Black Swan’ performance surfaced in no time.

The trend for ‘Black Swan’ started shortly after BTS ARMY caught that viral photo floating around on social media. However, it’s difficult to predict how true it would be.

Well, this is not the first time the singer has surprised fans with his look. The ‘Euphoria’ crooner was last seen rocking blonde hair in 2018 for BTS’ travel series Bon Voyage in Malta. In 2021, BTS’ Jungkook is as formidable as ever. BTS ARMY can’t stop wondering if they can handle Jungkook in a man bun and translucent shirt as he moves fiercely to the beats of ‘Black Swan’. Can you handle it?

If gossip mills are to be believed, Jungkook appeared on stage to receive an award for BTS and it was then his blonde hair was seen. Only time will tell if that is true. As of now, there is no official announcement about whether BTS will perform ‘Black Swan’ tomorrow or not.
