Rangers fans were expecting today to be pretty surreal as they watched Steven Gerrard’s side lift the Scottish Premiership title for the first time in a decade – but things got even wilder than expected when the Gers released a clip of their collaboration with Tinie Tempah.
Titled ‘Glorious 55th’ the song came about after the rapper congratulated Leon Balogun on the club’s title win on social media and the Rangers star asking if he’d pen a song in tribute.
Well, while many probably expected it to disappear without coming to anything, the club have this morning released a near two-minute clip of the track.
Featuring lyrics paying tribute to the Light Blues incredible success this season – as well as the ‘Four Lads’ who founded the club almost 150 years ago, it is sure to go down well with jubilant Rangers fans.
