Gimme Him: One player Giants would steal from Vikings

The New York Giants (8-5-1) will visit the Minnesota Vikings (11-3) at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota this Saturday afternoon.
That, of course, provides those of us here at Giants Wire the opportunity to hypothetically steal from the Vikings’ roster in search of depth and/or talent upgrades for Big Blue.
And there’s a lot to choose from. The Vikings’ roster is relatively deep and they have loads of talent at positions of need for the Giants. Among those considered were guard Ezra Cleveland, center Garrett Bradbury, and cornerback Patrick Peterson. But who are we kidding? We know where this is going.
Come on down, wide receiver Justin Jefferson.
The Giants are clearly lacking at the wide receiver position and who out there is better than Jefferson? He’s among the three highest-graded receivers in the league and currently leads the NFL with 1,623 yards to go along with seven touchdowns.
The 6-foot-1 Jefferson can dominate against both man and zone coverage, is a terrific route runner and his leaping ability makes him a nightmare on contested balls. He would immediately open things up for the Giants, helping not just the other wide receivers and tight ends, but preventing defenses from stacking the box against Saquon Barkley.
At 23 years old, Jefferson is still on his rookie contract and only getting better. He would take Big Blue’s offense to the next level and make them a legitimate contender.
What are your thoughts, Giants fans? Would you pick Justin Jefferson or would you steal an entirely different player from the Minnesota Vikings?
