The New York Giants waived linebacker Dominique Ross, the team announced Thursday.

Ross signed with the Giants back in April as an undrafted free agent rookie following the 2020 NFL Draft. A product of North Carolina, he played in  12 games during his senior season. He recorded 60 tackles, six tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks and four passes defended.

The Giants are expected to have some intense battles at training camp for some of the depth roles at linebacker behind Ryan Connelly and Blake Martinez.
