Giants saved from touchdown disaster by Kenneth Walker’s butt cheek

Giants #Giants

The Giants can thank their lucky stars on that one.

Seattle Seahawks running back Kenneth Walker III nearly scored what would have been one of the most embarrassing touchdowns the Giants would have ever given up.

Instead, it was a butt cheek that saved New York on the drive.

Bobby Okereke tackled Walker in the backfield, but the running back seemed to roll on top of the Giants’ inside linebacker causing some confusion over whether he had actually been down.

Walker briefly kept running before he turned back and started heading back to where the tackle was made.

However, in the confusion, the refs never apparently blew the play dead and Walker bolted to the end zone for what looked to be a touchdown.

After the play was reviewed it was ruled that Walker just barely made contact with the ground and was ruled down, saving the Giants’ butts.

New York held Seattle and forced them to punt the ball.
