The NBA all-star game had not yet begun before Giannis Antetokounmpo and his son Liam took over social media when TNT broadcast cameras quickly caught the 26-year-old father and his year-old son dribbling the ball to one another just before the game started.
On site at State Farm Arena, Bleacher Report captured another angle of the special moment between father and son:
After his introduction as a five-time all-star, Antetokounmpo blew a kiss to the sideline where his family was seated. Before the game, he had said he hoped they all could have fun on the brief trip to Atlanta.

“I’m gonna have fun,” he said. “Enjoy the moment. This is going to be, for sure, a different All-Star and playing, man, with great players. Who knows if I’m going to have the chance to play with them again, so, enjoy the moment. Hopefully, my family can enjoy it too. And smile. And just, you know, get it over with and go back home and get some rest.”
