After a year in lockdown, live music is back, and so too are festivals.

On May 20, Austin City Limits Music Festival unveiled their 2021 lineup, a mix of revered old timers and chart-topping newbies. Headlining this year’s festival, which takes place in Austin’s Zilker Park on October 1-3 and 8-10, is George Strait, Billie Eilish, Stevie Nicks, Miley Cyrus, Dababy, Erykah Badu, and Rufus Du Sol. All seven acts are slated for both weekend of the fest.

It appears that both Strait and Cyrus are hitting the fest circuit hard this year; this week, King George was announced as the headlining act for Houston Rodeo while Cyrus was named as a headliner for Lollapalooza.

Also slated is Megan Thee Stallion, who will be appearing for the first time since she was a no-show in 2019. (Megan later claimed she missed her scheduled set time.)

Doja Kat, Machine Gun Kelly, Black Pumas, Greta Van Fleet, Modest Mouse, Phoebe Bridgers, Jack Harlow, Band of Horses, Jon Pardi, and Bleachers are also among the dozens of acts heading to Austin this year. Read the full lineup here.

Along with eight stages, ACL offers 35 local food vendors, multiple bars, art vendors and brand installations, Austin Kiddie Limits, and free water stations throughout the park.

Passes for ACL Music Fest are on sale beginning at noon today, and begin at $225 for a three-day general admission pass or $550 for a general admission plus pass. Also available is the $1300 VIP badge and the $3800 Platinum ticket, which includes, among other perks, a golf cart shuttle.

Unlike Lollapalooza organizers who announced that proof of a COVID-19 vaccination was required to attend, no word yet on what (if any) COVID protocols ACL Music Fest will be implementing.
