George Parros is a joke. A goon on the ice, and a goon in the office

We talked about upcoming UFAs in the last post. Tonight, Detroit will face Dallas for the third time in 4 days but without the captain on the bench.

I’ve made no secret that George Parros should be fired. He’s an absolute joke. A knee on knee hit that he had to slow down 1000X just to get a clip set at gets 2 games. Now, two Detroit Red Wings have been concussed (Glendening by Gudas earlier, Larkin in the last game vs Dallas) and that worthless pile of caveman garbage can’t get off his butt and review the play. George, I doubt you’re reading this, but how many rolexes have you gotten since you took that job? Pays better to ignore issues sometimes, doesn’t it?

Regardless, this game just got harder. It’s in your hands, readers. Parros will continue to ignore everything that happens if it’s not making him richer or if one if his close friends is involved. Start making a stink. He needs to be fired and possibly investigated. The emails and texts that go on when these things happen are pretty damning. Some were used in court during the concussion lawsuit (eventually settled). And now the moron whose only job on the ice was to injure people is in charge, ignoring injuries unless there’s an outcry from Boston or Toronto. If you’re sick of it, start calling the league office and letting them know.

Detroit is no stranger to this. Zetterberg had his head slammed into the glass by Shea Weber three times (broke his helmet) and Weber was fined. Poile made the case that his team needed SW in the lineup or they couldn’t win the series. The league was all too happy to oblige. It’s all about favors and friends. Parros, man up and do your job or quit. You were a goon on the ice, and now you’re a goon in the offices. What a joke.
