The Oilers haven’t had much luck scoring goals against Toronto over the last two games. They hope that changes tonight with some new lines. Can the Oilers salvage one game of this three game series with the Leafs?
THREE THINGS TO LOOK FOR
There’s plenty of changes in the lines tonight, but the one with the most fanfare is the reunited line consisting of Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, Leon Draisaitl and Kailer Yamamoto. This line had a boatload of success early in the 2020 calendar year, can they rekindle some of that magic tonight?
Frederik Andersen is the third goalie used in three games for the Toronto Maple Leafs. Andersen is coming back from a lower body injury, and will play his first game since February 20th. Can the Oilers find any rust in Andersen’s game?
KEEPING UP: The Oilers have slipped into third place with their recent two game slide. A win tonight could put them back into second place in the division. Another loss and they could be looking at fourth place sooner than later.
