The Matchup: The New Jersey Devils (19-28-7) versus the New York Islanders (31-17-6)

The Time: 7:00 PM ET

The Broadcast: TV – MSG+2

The Previous Game: The last game saw the Devils beat the Islanders to the tune of 2-1, with Mackenzie Blackwood performing well in the victory. The Devils goals were scored by Pavel Zacha and Michael McLeod, for their 16th and 9th of the year respectably – both career highs for each player. With five wins in the previous six campaigns, the youth movement is looking strong for the Devils. Hopefully, the Devils can keep this hot progress up in a new campaign, with more training sessions available.

As of the release of the article, no updates on the lines are available. More information will be revealed as the day progresses.

Predicted Lines:

I believe the Devils lines, parring any injuries or returns, will look the same as the previous game.

Kuokkanen – Hughes – Sharangovich

Zacha – Hischier – Bratt

Boqvist – McLeod – Bastian

Foote – Thompson – Studenic

Murray – Severson

Butcher – Carrick

Bahl – Tennyson

I would guess Blackwood is starting

The Islanders lines may look like this

Zajac – Barzal – Palmieri

Beauvillier – Nelson – Bailey

Johnston – Pageau – Eberle

Martin – Cizikas – Clutterbuck

Pelech – Pulock

Leddy – Mayfield

Coburn – Dobson

Sorokin
