Gabriel Jesus made his first appearance for Arsenal since November when he came on as a substitute during Sunday’s Premier League game at Fulham.
The former Manchester City striker had featured in 20 Arsenal games before the World Cup but then missed his club’s last 15 matches with a knee injury.
Jesus suffered that injury during Qatar 2022 in a game between Brazil and Cameroon.
Arsenal won nine of their 15 games without Jesus since the World Cup, drawing two and losing three.
The Gunners were leading 3-0 at Fulham when Jesus entered Sunday’s game in the 77th minute.
He almost marked his return with a goal eight minutes later but was denied by a good saved by Fulham keeper Bernd Leno.
