1. Best Location: Four Seasons Orlando Vs. Ritz-Carlton Vs. JW Marriott
Four Seasons Orlando has the best location and is nestled in a secluded, residential setting within 26 sprawling lakeside acres, dotted with gardens, pools, and towering pillars of palms and cypress.
The Four Seasons provides complimentary transportation to the Parks and an on-site twice-weekly character breakfast. Complimentary, scheduled Resort transportation is offered to the four major Disney Theme Parks: MAGIC KINGDOM® Park, DISNEY’S ANIMAL KINGDOM® Theme Park, DISNEY’S HOLLYWOOD STUDIOS®, and EPCOT®. Buses run once per hour to each of the parks. Direct service to and from Disney Springs, universal studios, SeaWorld, and restaurant row is available for a fee.
It’s just a 7-minute drive from Four Seasons Orlando to the Parks. This compares to JW Marriott and the Ritz-Carlton Orlando which are both on the same plot of land and are a 15-minute drive from the parks. Again Ritz-Carlton and JW Marriott also provide free transportation to the Ticket and Transporation hub at Disney World. These transfers are included as part of your resort fee (there is no resort fee at Four Seasons).
More Wherever you decide to travel, book via our luxury travel concierge. See what our clients say about us & how thrilled they are with the extra benefits we provide at no additional cost. We offer free upgrades, free breakfasts, & free perks at hotels, including the Four Seasons, Marriott, Hyatt, Ritz-Carlton, InterContinental, & more. Typically, our free benefits include:
2. Best Pool
The Four Seasons pool is amazing. Drift away on their Lazy River, unwind at the adult-only pool, hang out with the family at The Mansion for a game of table tennis, take the plunge on one of the two water slides (pictured above), then dry off with a game of beach volleyball. Between their expansive Explorer Island, 18-hole golf course, pools, and tennis facilities, this resort boasts plenty of action-packed fun. Four Seasons has the best pool.
JW Marriott and Ritz-Carlton share the same pools. While the fun lazy river belongs to the JW Mariott, and the more traditional rectangular pool belongs to Ritz-Carlton, the properties are adjacent to each other, and guests can use both pools. The pools are great but the Four Seasons pool is better.
3. Best For Kids
Four Seasons Orlando is the best for kids as the best pools and slides can be found at Four Seasons, plus, they have a great kids club and fabulous character breakfasts.
4. Best Style
No Orlando hotel shouts exquisite style. Perhaps it’s the flat swamp they are all located on which lacks in character. However, the Four Seasons offers its generic slick finish with a tropical twist and is by far the most stylish of the three resorts. The Ritz-Carlton has a traditional feel, and the JW Marriott has a generic Marriott style and is nothing to write home about. If you want a truly stylish hotel, try the historic and glamorous Surf Club by Four Seasons in Miami.
5. Best Restaurant
Four Seasons has a number of restaurants with their signature restaurant, Capa, offering two outdoor terraces and an elegant dining room. This 17th floor rooftop steakhouse and bar showcases wood-fired prime cuts and unique Spanish-influenced cuisine expertly in a vibrant and sophisticated setting. Diverse offerings range from New Basque-inspired small plates to an array of fresh seafood.
Named among the Best 100 Wine Restaurants in the US by Wine Enthusiast magazine, Capa Steakhouse features a wine and cocktail program that emphasizes both regional specialties and global classics. Two outdoor terraces feature stunning views of the nightly WALT DISNEY WORLD® fireworks spectaculars, while our open kitchen allows you to be close to the action.
The Ritz-Carlton is a huge hotel with numerous eateries. Their garden, apiaries and chicken coops are not simply for show. The restaurants at The Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes source produce, herbs and other ingredients to create a unique dining experience. In fact there are twelve outlets at The Ritz-Carlton, JW Marriott, and the signature Whisper Creek Farm, a sustainable farm, garden, and apiary that powers all their restaurants and bars. From fine dining to a brasserie, you will find what you want.
In conclusion, Four Seasons Capa is your best restaurant choice across these hotels.
6. Best Fireworks
As outlined above if you dine at Capa at Four Seasons, there are two outdoor terraces featuring stunning views of the nightly WALT DISNEY WORLD® fireworks spectaculars. Fireworks rooms here also have an excellent view of the spectacular, so Four Seasons is your best choice for Fireworks.
At the Ritz-Carlton and JW Marriott, the fireworks are slightly further away. You can view the fireworks from the Ritz-Carlton club lounge or the rooms on the high floors on the pool side at each hotel.
7. Best Rooms
Four Seasons rooms are stylish and immaculate and the best of these three hotels. Choose a fireworks room so that you can see the fireworks. Ritz-Carlton Orlando offers more traditional room decor, and JW Marriott offers generic Marriott decor.
8. Club Lounge
The Ritz-Carlton has a club lounge, and the Four Seasons doesn’t in Orlando, so the Ritz-Carlton is your best choice here. The food and beverage selection in the Ritz-Carlton club lounge is brilliant. JW Marriott does not have a club lounge so Ritz-Carlton is your best choice here.
9. Resort Fee
At the time of writing, the daily resort fee at JW Marriott is $35 per night, and the daily resort fee at Ritz-Carlton is $40 per night. Four Seasons does not charge a resort fee and is, therefore, the best choice when it comes to resort fees.
