Former ‘SNL’ comedian Leslie Jones gushes over Lamont’s ‘fleek’ vases

Leslie Jones likes Gov. Ned Lamont’s vases.

That’s pronounced “vah-ses,” according to the former ‘Saturday Night Live’ comedian, who has been entertaining both herself and her more than 1 million Twitter followers throughout the pandemic and election season with her commentary on news coverage and TV personalities.

Jones spotted Lamont during an appearance on the MSNBC show ‘All In with Chris Hayes’ Wednesday night.

Her critiques of the decor behind previous MSNBC talking heads have ranged from harsh — she said one contributor’s home looked like “a haunted house”— to complimentary.

But Lamont’s background, made up of a painting and several glass vases on top of a piece of wood furniture, surpassed Jones’ high standards.

“What is this immaculate s— here?” she marveled.

Then, catching herself saying “vay-ses” and correcting her pronunciation to “vah-ses,” she gushed over the vessels on the table.

“Those glass vases are fleek!”

Jones also speculated that the painting behind Lamont’s head could depict Harlem, where she moved after Lorne Michaels offered her a job as a writer on SNL in 2014.

“Am I tripping?” she asked. “That looks like First Ave!”
