A long title drought came to an end on Tuesday as the Milwaukee Bucks knocked off the Phoenix Suns at home 105-98 in Game 6 to win their first NBA title since 1971. They were led by Lew Alcindor and Oscar Robertson during that title run and the Bucks were able to make the legends proud on Tuesday.

Led by former Philadelphia 76ers guard Jrue Holiday, the veteran was able to come up with 12 points, nine rebounds, and 11 assists on Tuesday to help Giannis Antetokounmpo, who had 50 points, get the job done. Holiday had an up and down offensive series, but his defense against Suns leader and future Hall of Famer Chris Paul was impressive all series.

Holiday spent his first four seasons with the Sixers, making an All-Star appearance in 2013 before he was traded to the New Orleans Pelicans on draft night for the 6th pick which turned out to be Nerlens Noel. That trade triggered the rebuilding phase known infamously as “The Process” to help the Sixers chase down a title of their own and end their drought.
