In a recent development, the former head of India’s R&AW intelligence agency, Vikram Sood, openly criticized Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau for his unsubstantiated claims. Trudeau had accused the Indian government of involvement in the shooting of Hardeep Singh Nijjar, the leader of the Khalistan Tiger Force. Sood characterised Trudeau’s allegations as baseless and without supporting evidence, expressing doubt about Trudeau’s actions, including the expulsion of an Indian diplomat, in the absence of concrete proof. Sood also raised questions about the rationale behind Trudeau’s statements and actions, labelling the entire situation as illogical and absurd. Hardeep Singh Nijjar, a designated terrorist, was fatally shot outside a Gurdwara in Surrey on June 18. Canada had pointed fingers at India, alleging its involvement in Nijjar’s death.Former R&AW chief Vikram Sood slams Trudeau’s unsubstantiated claims on Khalistan leader Nijjar’s death
