Former Buffs LB Eoghan Kerry enters transfer portal

The Colorado Buffaloes have frequently been landing players in the transfer portal since Deion Sanders arrived in town. However, over one month into the season, linebacker Eoghan Kerry has announced his decision to enter the transfer portal and play elsewhere. Kerry posted a long message on social media to make the announcement:
“…To my brothers, sharing the Colorado title with you all has been an honor. I have formed more friendships than I could have imagined and made more memories than I thought possible. Thank you. With that being said, I’ll be entering my name into the transfer portal with 3 years of remaining eligibility.”
Kerry was with the team in 2022 and played sparingly, mostly on special teams, and was one of just a few players to stick around after Karl Dorrell was fired and all the changes were made.
However, over the summer, Kerry left the football program but kept his CU scholarship as a student.
