Forget Aaronson: BBC man wowed by ‘impressive’ Leeds ace who’s been ‘everywhere’
Aaronson #Aaronson
Leeds United and United States midfielder Tyler Adams has been “really impressive” in the first half of the side’s Premier League clash with Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.
That is according to former Millwall forward Sam Perkin, who was commentating on the game for BBC Radio 5 Live at Selhurst Park.
Adams was selected to start in the middle of the park by manager Jesse Marsch, as the Whites looked to improve on last week’s 0-0 draw with Aston Villa.
And Marsch’s side got off to a good start, when Pascal Struijk put the Yorkshire 1-0 up within the first ten minutes of the fixture, before Odsonne Edouard equalised for the hosts.
But in spite of the equaliser, Perkins has been impressed by Adams’ performance during the fixture.
“I’ve been really impressed with Leeds,” Perkins told BBC Radio 5 Live.
“Tyler Adams has been really impressive so far, he’s been absolutely everywhere, keeping it simple in possession but just winning the second balls and that’s what you get from Leeds United.

TIF Thoughts on Perkins’ comments
We think that Perkins is right to be praising Adams with his performance so far, and his displays this season certainly suggest that his run of form isn’t going to end any time soon.
The United States international has averaged a 6.99 SofaScore rating for his performances throughout the season, ranking as Leeds’ fifth-best performing player, suggesting that the £20m signing has been a smart piece of business.
Therefore, we agree with Perkins’ comments, and would suggest that we should get used to the midfielder’s exceptional performances for Leeds.
