Nicki Minaj, the Queen of Hip-Hop, is coming to Raleigh.

Along with her world tour in 2024, Minaj announced Monday she is stopping at the Dreamville Festival at Dorothea Dix Park on April 6-7.

The rapper released her anticipated “Pink Friday 2” album on Friday. A song on it features Fayetteville-based rapper and festival creator J. Cole.

Her last visit to Raleigh was in 2018 at the PNC Arena along with the rapper Future. Charlotte is also on her list of places to perform, on March 26. The Rolling Loud Festival in California is another music event Minaj will headline.

Pre-sale tickets for Dreamville Festival went on sale in November.

Tickets sold out early last year.

Additional details about the festival’s lineup have yet to be announced.

The event drew 50,000 people on both days this past April with performances by Hip-Hop and R&B artists J. Cole, Drake, Ari Lennox, Summer Walker, Burna Boy and Usher. Special guests included rappers 21 Savage, Lil’ Wayne, and Lil’ Uzi Vert.
