Florentino Perez says players will NOT be banned from national teams

The statement made by the 12 clubs who have joined the Super League put the footballing world in shock. 12 of Europe’s elite football clubs came together and created a new knockout style competition and it has been the center of discussion ever since.
Rumours were flying around that players who featured for Super League clubs would not be able to represent their national team in the World Cup or other national competitions.

However, Super League Chairman Florentino Perez has said that this is not true.
The Real Madrid President spoke to Chiringuito to clear the air on all things Super League and the prospect of players being banned came up.
“Players banned from international competitions and National teams according to UEFA? Don’t worry, this will NOT happen. They won’t be banned if they join the Super League”
In the statement that was released by the Super League, it said that they look forward to working with UEFA and FIFA.
“Going forward, the Founding Clubs look forward to holding discussions with UEFA and FIFA to work together in partnership to deliver the best outcomes for the new League and for football as a whole.”
The Founding Clubs are the following: AC Milan, Arsenal FC, Atlético de Madrid, Chelsea FC, FC Barcelona, FC Internazionale Milano, Juventus FC, Liverpool FC, Manchester City, Manchester United, Real Madrid CF and Tottenham Hotspur.
The Founding Clubs are said to potentially earn €10 billion in solidarity payments and will also receive €3.5 billion in support to help with legal fees and investment plans.
