Five highlights from GOT7’s Youngjae first solo livestream on VLIVE

Youngjae is the first member of GOT7 to release any new content since the group left JYP Entertainment. His solo VLIVE took place on January 25th and don’t worry if you missed it, here are five highlights from the stream.
GOT7 fan’s have done nothing but celebrate after the group announced they were leaving JYP Entertainment but still being able to keep the group name.
Today, they had more to celebrate as main vocalist, Youngjae, just did his first solo livestream on K-Pop platform VLIVE. This time, he streamed on the account of his new company Sublime Artist Agency, not GOT7.

If fans are still worried that GOT7 are no more, then the idol definitely reassured them. He began the VLIVE introducing himself the same way as he has done for the last seven years, as if he was with his other members. He said, “Come and get it, GOT7. Hello, I’m GOT7’s Youngjae”, along with the ‘7’ hand sign.
2. Jackson appeared on the VLIVE
Jackson recently announced that his Korean activities will also be under Sublime Artist Agency, meaning that future collaborations with Youngjae will be possible.He entered the livestream but did not appear on camera because he said that he “looked like trash” compared to a camera-ready Youngjae. You can only see his arm petting Youngjae’s dog, Coco.Turns out, Jackson was at the company because he was working fixing on his script for an MV, so that means new music from Jackson soon!
3. If GOT7 member’s go head to head on music shows, the loser will do the winning speech.
Youngjae explained that if GOT7 released music as a group and it was up for first place against a member’s solo song, then the loser would do the thank you speech instead. So whoever wins, it would still be GOT7 winning together.
4. There is an album in the works.
The idol said that fan’s can definitely expect an album in the future, though when that will be is unconfirmed. Though Youngjae did say that “Lots of different contents are being planned for me”, so perhaps a single first?Also, a fan asked him whether he would be in a musical, and he gave the camera a smirk, so maybe a musical is on the cards too.
5. Youngjae admitted he is currently very happy.
As soon as he entered the room for his VLIVE, he thanked everyone for sending him so many flowers and for setting up such an elaborate background. When answering fan questions, he said “I’m so happy!” and thanked the IGOT7’s.
