FIRST WARN FORECAST: Monday is the coldest day this week as the metro warms towards Spring-like temperatures
Good Monday #GoodMonday
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – Good morning and happy Presidents’ Day! The weather pattern will stay warm and quiet over the next week. Today will be one of the coolest of the next 7, and we will still be topping out 10-15 degrees above the average high. The caveat will be the breezy conditions and a small disturbance bringing in some cloud cover later this afternoon before clearing overnight. Temperatures in the mornings call for jackets but by the afternoon will warm up.
Ditching Winter(KCTV 5)
Tuesday temperatures will be in the middle 60s and the upper 60s to low 70s are expected by Wednesday! Another small disturbance passes us on Thursday bringing in some cloud cover and a few showers, right now it is a very slim chance. This disturbance will also cool temps back by a few degrees but still be abnormally warm. The CPC has forecast above-average highs are likely for the start of March.
