At 7:50 p.m., someone found his watercraft, three kilometres east of the park.
Roughly an hour later, police received a call that Mohamed had gone missing.

The OPP Aerial unit searched for him along with boats on the water. The fire rescue boats, full of responders, shined bright lights at the water while firefighters, who also wore helmets with lights, looked for any sign of Mohamed.
They didn’t see him, and all units on the ground, water and in the air stopped some time after sunset.
Police say Mohamed is Black and stands five feet six inches, 120 pounds, and has brown eyes and short, buzzed hair. They say he was last seen wearing a white shirt with black shorts.
The search continues Thursday.
