First look as singer Becky Hill arrives in the ITV Love Island villa as a ‘new bombshell’

Brit Award-winning singer Becky Hill makes a surprise arrival in the Love Island villa tonight, and the Islanders are thrilled to discover that they have some company. It’s party time on the ITV dating contest as they learn that Crazy What Love Can Do, False Alarm, Remember and Afterglow hitmaker Becky will perform for them in the garden.
Paige Thorne exclaims “Becky Hill is going to be here tonight – what the actual F?!” And Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu says: “I’m a huge fan of Becky Hill. A once in a lifetime opportunity!”
Becky shot to fame on the first series of the talent contest The Voice UK and joined Jessie J’s team to semi-final in 2012. In 2014 she became the first The Voice UK contestant to score a UK number 1 when the song Gecko (Overdrive) with Oliver Heldens topped the UK Singles Chart.

Sharing the exciting news on her social media she shared snaps of herself in the Love Island beach hut and seated around the famous firepit: “I’ve heard there’s a brand new bombshell entering the villa tonight… to sing some tunes all i’m saying is you don’t want to miss this” she wrote.
@Beckyhillfan202 tweeted: “I can’t wait to see this!!! This is exactly what Love Island needs.” @tbyseren exclaimed: “BECKY omg wer’e excited!!!” and show host Laura Whitmore applauded “yas girl!”

First look photos show the Islanders including Paige and Coco cheering excitedly as they watched the star’s performance. And she looks stunning in a flowing pink and green patterned dress teamed with orange lace-up heels.
“This Look,” exclaimed Ella Henderson who duets with Becky on the David Guetta hit Crazy What Love Can Do. And she added a stream of flame emojis to show her appreciation.
In January Becky announced her engagement to long-term partner Charlie Gardner in the Maldives last week. The 28-year-old star says she wants a music festival event for their wedding.
Last year Don’t Call Me Up singer Mabel was the star performer in the villa. She took to the stage by the swimming pool accompanied by backing dancers with the excited Islanders screaming from the sidelines.

Other celebs to appear in the villa include Seven Days icon Craig David who delighted Islanders with his performance of When You Know What Love Is. DJ and rapper Tom Zanetti appeared at the Love Island party in 2018.
Rapper Sean Paul turned up to the South African villa for the winter series in 2020. And while he didn’t perform, Stormzy memorably surprised the islanders with a video call in 2017.
