First Knuckles TV Show Trailer Packs A Punch And An Official Release Date

Knuckles #Knuckles

Sonic the Hedgehog is racing into theaters this December, but before the Blue Blur makes his return, his one-time rival Knuckles will be headlining his own TV mini-series in April. The first trailer for Knuckles is here, and if you’ve been eager to see more of the Idris Elba-voiced echidna warrior on a motorcycle, then you’re in for a treat.

Debuting on Paramount+ on April 26, the six-episode series follows Knuckles as he becomes used to life on Earth. Seeking meaning, Knuckles sets out on a journey of self-discovery as he agrees to train Wade Whipple (Adam Pally) in the the ways of the echidna warrior. While Dr. Robotnik will make his grand return in Sonic the Hedgehog 3–once again played by Jim Carrey–Knuckles will have his own nemesis to deal with as a sinister force seeks to harness his power for his own nefarious ends.

Fans can also expect to see a few other familiar faces in the series, as Sonic the Hedgehog (Ben Schwartz), Tails (Colleen O’Shaughnessey), and Maddie Wachowski (Tika Sumpter) will make guest appearances. The rest of the cast includes Stockard Channing, Edi Patterson, Scott Mescudi, Ellie Taylor, Julian Barratt, Rory McCann, Cary Elwes, Christopher Lloyd, Paul Scheer, and Rob Huebel.

The Knuckles TV show was first announced in 2022 as part of Paramount’s plans to create a Sonic cinematic universe, and if that’s not enough Sonic-related content for you, you can also look forward to new Knuckles content in remastered version of the 2D/3D platformer Sonic Generations, later this year.
