Finebaum goes off on Dabo Swinney: “His dynasty is done”

Talking heads will always talk, especially Paul Finebaum.

The ESPN analyst was on the Matt Barrie Show Sunday and took offense to Swinney’s quote on a radio show about may needing to “lose a few games and lighten up the bandwagon” that went viral.

Finebaum responded in a childish manner, calling Swinney an idiot.

“Fortunately for North Carolina, they lost that game because we aren’t focusing on what a blithering idiot Dabo Swinney is for saying what he did earlier in the week about hey, maybe I need to lose a couple of games, and my fan base will understand what it’s like,” Swinney said. “Well. he now has lost a couple of games. How ‘bout three, Dabo?”

Finebaum has doubts that Swinney can get the Clemson program back to elite status.

“I made some comments a couple of months ago or weeks ago about ‘Dabo’s dynasty is done,’” Finebaum said. “It was more for alliteration. His dynasty is over. It has been over for a while, and the concern now is can he ever get it back to an elite level, I think there has to be some doubts. And there are a lot of reasons for it, and most of them are when Dabo Swinney looks in the mirror at night.”
