Finance Minister Looking to Public for Ways to Strengthen Province’s Finances

Finance Minister Siobhan Coady is turning to the public for “bold ideas” on ways to help strengthen and improve the province’s finances.

Coady rose in the House of Assembly this week to invite residents to offer their comments and ideas ahead of the provincial budget.

The portal to provide comment, which first opened in January, will be open until April 30th.

Residents are invited to submit ideas on “modernizing” government online at engagenl.ca or by email at Budget2021@gov.nl.ca by April 30.
