Speak Up, Show Up, Suit Up for Men’s Health
Contemporary Australian men’s fashion brand POLITIX has partnered with Movember for a fifth year, introducing new fundraising initiatives for 2022 that will encourage men to speak up, show up, and suit up for men’s health. Since 2018, POLITIX has helped raise over $500,000
for Movember. Driving donations, engagement, and awareness through their yearly campaigns. And this year is no different. POLITIX is pledging to donate $10 from the sale of every blazer and formal jacket to Movember throughout the hairy month of November. The iconic retailer is also pledging to raise $120,000 for the global leading men’s health charity.
POLITIX will be taking their charitable work one step further this year, launching an always-on round-up donation mechanism. This means that customers will have a chance to donate to Movember at point of purchase (both online and in store) by rounding up their purchase to the nearest dollar, or simply donating one dollar. Online customers will be provided the option to contribute $1, $2 or $5 donations.
This year’s campaign features Sydney based artist and designer Nathan Johnson, who uses
his creative flair for typography to bring to life important men’s health messaging. Nathan
uses words visually as a way to communicate and raise awareness. To further enhance the
donation mechanism, the monochromatic mural is complimented by the vibrancy and colour of POLITIX’s new Spring/Summer collection of Formal Jackets and Blazers, anchored in skillful
design, modern detailing and time honoured craftsmanship.

Whip Out the 100 and 1000’s this Fairy Bread Day
If there’s something Aussie’s do well, it’s taking pride and completely obsessing over our national icons. On that note, Fairy Bread Day is returning in 2022 and we are urging our readers to whip out the 100 and 1000’s on November 24 to raise funds for leading youth mental organisation, Reach out.
Australian family-owned confectionery company, Dollar Sweets, has spearheaded Fairy Bread Day for the past two years, raising a massive $62.9K in donations for ReachOut to support young people when it comes to their mental health and suicide prevention. Established in 2014, the sweet and colourful day has taken over schools, offices and job sites around Australia, as well as the streets of Melbourne last year with a huge art installation of a Fairy Bread Kath and Kim that went completely viral.
This year will be just as silly, so we encourage you to get the creative juices flowing whilst pledging donations to ReachOut via the Fairy Bread Day website.
