Spoiler alert: This article contains spoilers for episodes one through four of “FBOY Island” season 3.
The CW’s “FBOY Island” is breaking up with Monday nights and moving to a new Friday night time slot this week, giving fans a Halloweek treat: a bonus episode! Jared from Miami stirred up some trouble in the show’s third episode. And we said “fboy, f-bye,” to the Johnny Bravo-esque surfer and “finance bro” from St. Pete.
On Monday, Oct. 30, the remaining Florida fboy was a bit quieter, but still had some choice moments.
Here’s what you missed from episodes three and four of “FBOY Island,” season three, and when to expect the fifth episode.

Florida fboys on ‘Fboy Island’ season 3, episodes 3 and 4 recap
The third episode of this season of “FBOY Island” brings us a plethora of zingers from reigning king of the fboys: Jared “from” Miami. Jared Gordon-Anderson is a 24-year-old model who told the show’s producers that he is from Miami but seems to be a Florida transplant, from Framingham, Massachusetts.
And viewers were treated with a dramatic clip of one of his camera-only confessions before the title sequence even rolled for the third episode.
“I am an fboy. I definitely think I’m capable of outsmarting these women,” Jared told the camera. “When it comes to Daniella, I don’t like her. I’m just doin’ it for the bread.”
For some reason, the first group date function we see is a foam party, of all things.
“If Jared truly cares about me, he will take the time to come up and talk to me,” former snowboarder and influencer Daniella told the camera before the foam party. Fboy Jared was her choice for her first one-on-one date and caused some commotion among the men in episode 2.
“He is like the only person on my (expletive) list right now.”
“I definitely feel like I’m still in the dog house because Daniella made it clear that I’m walking on very thin ice,” Jared said. “I can’t have her lose that spark that she has for me, so I don’t want to say too much. But I definitely have to acknowledge her and act like I care.”
We don’t see much more from Jared or “finance bro” Steven in the third episode until the cocktail party and elimination ceremony, where Steven gets put up for elimination by Daniella.
Jared apologizes to Daniella and “owns up” to his decision to spark an argument with the other men at the last cocktail party.
She accepts the apology but mentions it should have come earlier. We then get a clip of Jared talking to the camera in true Jared fashion, one that we saw a preview of in episode two.
“With Daniella, the name of the game is to say what people want to hear. Even if it’s not always the truth.”
Naturally, the only other Florida contestant, Steven, interrupts Jared’s “apology” to steal Daniella for a pretty dry chat.
“Steven is a clown,” Jared told the camera. “At the end of the day, he don’t got this smile,” He said before flashing his teeth with an awkward beat of silence.
Daniella seems shocked by Steven’s young age and underwhelmed by his attempt to come on to her.
“Wait, why are you here for love then, if you’re 23?” Daniella asked Steven. “And you’re from Florida. Same as Jared.”
At the elimination ceremony, Daniella puts Steven in her bottom two and ultimately eliminates him. Jared didn’t make it into any of the three women’s bottom two choices, advancing him to episode four.
Steven attempts to save himself with a speech.
“I’m a little heartbroken, honestly,” Steven said. “I do think we have a lot in common. And for me tonight, I think we can take it to a deeper level and maybe get some more physical chemistry …”
Steven’s speech is cut off by the women and the other men’s laughter and Daniella sends him back to St. Pete.
“I came here as an (expletive) fboy!” Steven said with laughter. “You think I was going to give you 50k instead of my mom?”
He then went on an fboy roasting spree, pointing to Jared first.
“You got Jared, king fboy over there,” he said. Then he turned his attention to Daniella, who went on a date earlier in the episode with assumed-nice guy Christian from Houston, Texas.
“And you’re making out with a P.E. teacher on the couch over there, thinking I’m really into you?”
“You don’t even compare to him,” Daniella responded, before Nikki Glaser sent him away with her iconic “fboy, f-bye.”
The fourth episode was mostly focused on the other men, with no significant screen time from king fboy Jared.
Are Mercedes and Louise from ‘FBoy Island’ together?
Fan-favorite and notorious fboy Mercedes Knox from the last season of “FBOY Island” is single again. The former fboy, who says he’s reformed, came in and immediately snagged a date from Hali, who was in the middle of making a connection with none other than Mercedes’ brother, Marquis.
“It’s over,” Mercedes told the camera before his date with Hali. “Came in, closed the book and I’m going to show you the rest of the way.”
The lukewarm love triangle between the three starts stealing Jared’s fboy thunder in the third episode and is the main focus of the fourth episode that aired this week. And this brother drama is full of metaphors. Mercedes refers to “closing the book” several times and Marquis can’t seem to stop talking about what “basket” he’s putting his “eggs” in for two episodes before getting put up for elimination in the fourth.
What is the concept of ‘FBoy Island?’
The show may not have the cult following of ABC’s “The Bachelor.” But enough eyes were on the first two seasons — which went straight to HBO Max — for it to be renewed for a third season, which made its debut Monday, Oct. 16, 2023.
“FBOY Island” has taken the question all reality dating show contestants can’t stop asking the camera and makes it the point of the game: “Who’s here for love and who’s here for the clout?”
Three women date around a sea of self-proclaimed “fboys” and “nice guys.” If they end up with a nice guy, they split $100,000 and walk home with a new relationship. If they end up with an fboy, they might get robbed of the prize money and get broken up with. And the women don’t know who is who.
Where can I watch ‘FBoy Island’ 2023?
“FBOY Island” is no longer streaming on HBO Max, but episodes are available on demand with The CW and on The CW’s app for free the Saturday after they air.
You can watch “FBOY Island” live on The CW on Friday nights at 9 p.m. EST. The next elimination will take place at the beginning of the Friday, Nov. 3, episode.
Where is ‘FBoy Island’ located?
Although the villas look nicer this season than they did in the first two, the location is a major step down. “FBOY Island” season 3 was filmed throughout Los Angeles County, whereas the first two seasons took place in the Cayman Islands and Cabo, respectively.
