FANS have let rip at Calvin Bassey on social media after the defender produced TWO howlers against Tottenham last night.
Fulham fell to a 2-0 defeat to Ange Postecoglou’s Spurs at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and it was the former Rangers star who was at fault for both goals.

His performance has been branded “one of the worst of all-time” as supporters slammed him over his mistakes.
Bassey, 23, looked uncomfortable in the Fulham defence and the former Celtic boss targeted him with high press after seeing him deployed at right centre-back.
The left-sided defender gifted the hosts their opener on the 36th minute after his wayward pass fell to Micky van de Ven who slotted the ball to Richarlison before it ended up at Son Heung-min who fired it past Bernd Leno between the sticks.
Bassey then suffered another calamity to gift James Maddison his goal early in the second half.
And fans took aim at Bassey following his costly errors as he received a lot of stick online.
One fan joked: “Spurs best player tonight was Calvin Bassey. He was the difference between the two teams.”
Another hit out: “That Calvin Bassey’s performance is up there with Bakayoko’s for the worst PL performance ever.”
Someone else insisted: “Calvin Bassey with one of the worst individual performances by a footballer of all time.”
A fourth wrote: “This Calvin Bassey performance should be on a hall of shame.”
Whilst a fifth said: “Calvin Bassey is having a shocker of a game tonight. He can’t play any worse.”
Fans weren’t the only ones furious with Bassey as Fulham boss Marco Silva blamed him for the defeat at full-time.
He admitted that Postecoglou targeted the former Rangers man with his high-press and insisted they were punished by Bassey’s mistakes.
The manager said: “Tottenham pressed really strong and more on Calvin. They knew that we were playing a left-footed central defender on the right-hand side, and we were punished for the mistake [for the first goal].
“What disappointed me more is the second goal. We spoke at half-time about what we should have done completely different, and we conceded a similar goal at the beginning of the second half after we had started well.
“We spoke at half-time that the solution for Bassey has to be completely different, the position of our midfield has to be completely different for him to have a solution.
“Not just the decision from Calvin was wrong for the second goal, the players should be there to avoid this type of mistake because of course it can happen. It is much more of a process than just one player making a bad decision.”
