The deadline came and went for the Raiders to sign Pro Bowl running back Josh Jacobs to a multi-deal.

The deadline for teams to sign a player on a franchise tag to a deal was 1 p.m. PDT Monday.

NFL Network said there were extensive negotiations but a deal never materialized.

Raider Nation and NFL fans reacted that both sides didn’t come to an extension.

As of now, Jacobs is not under contract unless he signs his $10.091 million tender, but he reportedly will skip training camp. He told Las Vegas’ FOX 5 that he’s “feeling great” and is “explosive.”

Jacobs cannot be fined since he didn’t sign his tender.

Jacobs posted a reply on Twitter saying “we never tried to reset the market.”

Jacobs, 25, was selected in the first round of the 2019 NFL draft by the Raiders.

Ever since joining the Raiders, he’s put up over 1,000 yards per year, except in 2021 when he rushed for 872 yards and nine touchdowns.

In his four NFL seasons, Jacobs has rushed 1,072 times for 4,740 yards and 40 touchdowns in 60 games played.

Last season, he he finished with 1,653 rushing yards and 12 touchdowns.

Running backs Saquon Barkley of the New York Giants and Tony Pollard of the Dallas Cowboys also didn’t receive extensions by the deadline.

If Jacobs does miss training camp, the Raiders would turn in the short term to Ameer Abdullah, Brandon Bolden, Brittain Brown, Sincere McCormick, Austin Waller and Zamir White.

Training camp begins July 25 in Henderson, Nev.
