Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford conceded a penalty after wiping Ollie Watkins out as Aston Villa took a two-goal lead.
The Toffees started in terrible fashion on Sunday at Villa Park after going two goals down to Unai Emery’s men.

And Pickford can have no complaints after referee Anthony Taylor pointed to the spot when the England international clattered Watkins.
It had many fans comparing the situation to a similar incident last week where Andre Onana wiped Sasa Kalajdzic out in the last minute against Wolves.
However, the Manchester United star got away with the challenge and no penalty was given as refereeing chief Jon Moss apologised to Wolves boss Gary O’Neil for getting the decision wrong.
Fans were left gobsmacked with one saying: “Absolute comedy. United’s Onana destroys a player with his upper body, Pickford makes lower body contact, doesn’t even hit him with his arm, and gets a penalty. PL refereeing is just awful.”
Another wrote: “So that’s a pen against Pickford but not Andre Onana.”
And a third said: “They’ve given that penalty against Pickford, but Onana against Wolves wasn’t? Make it make sense.”
Everton failed to clear a set-piece and a ball nodded into the danger area saw Watkins and Pickford both go for the ball.
The Villa striker got their first but was wiped out by Pickford as the resulting shot was cleared off the line.

Taylor took a moment before giving the penalty and then booking the Everton goalkeeper for trying to waste time.
Douglas Luiz rifled the spot-kick into the corner just minutes after John McGinn opened the scoring, giving the Toffees a mountain to climb after less than 30 minutes.
To make matters worse for Sean Dyche, Dominic Calvert-Lewin had to come off with an injury to further leave Everton with more problems.
After losing the first game of the season to Fulham, concerns over another relegation battle are already mounting.
