Cooking show films at Burnside Plantation in Bethlehem | PHOTOS

Burnside Plantation hosted the PBS show “A Taste of History” on Wednesday, June 16. Chef Walter Staib, of Bryn Mawr, recreates historical recipes at original locations around the U.S. and the world. Burnside Plantation volunteer Joanne Ritter and Chef Staib made two-fry beets, a recipe from 1724 with ingredients that would have been accessible to the Moravians that lived in Bethlehem later in the 18th century.
