Things are getting serious on Big Brother Australia. With 16 remaining housemates, gone are the days of getting to know everyone.

Now, as the established housemates edge closer to the $250,000 prize, alliances and friendships are put to the ultimate test – especially for the returning housemates who have relationships in the outside world.

This week on the show, the house’s mainframe has been hacked, leaving the housemates confused, without food and at the mercy of the mysterious hackers who have taken over.

While the newbies are working together, it's the returning housemates, known as the 'OG's', that are already turning on each other.

Between the hacking, and lack of food, the tensions between housemates reach an all time high.

While the newbies are working together, it’s the returning housemates, known as the ‘OG’s’, that are already turning on each other. Most notably; Estelle, Drew and Tim.

“We came in as OGs, but at this stage in the game things are starting to show that not all OGs can necessarily be trusted with your life in the house,” Estelle explains.

Coming into the house, Estelle has always had a solid gameplan. Although she remains loyal to the OG’s, she hasn’t let it stop her from building relationships with the newbies.

"A lot of my game and strategic decisions on who I was voting on was based on the treatment of others."

“A lot of my game and strategic decisions on who I was voting on was based on the treatment of others,” she shares. So when she started to see a side of Drew she didn’t like, it began to take more weight than his OG status.

“Drew was not always that nice. He was a bit of a grump and had a short temper. I just didn’t really like the energy he was bringing to the household.

“That, coupled with how he was eroding our trust with the deal he struck with Joel, selling out his own girlfriend within a number of days.

“It all seemed so soon in the competition. It put my antennas up to start going ‘what’s going on with Drew? I dont think I can trust him.'”

With Drew flipping to the newbies to support his girlfriend Sam, Estelle believed she had the remaining returning housemates wholeheartedly on the OG alliance.

Little did she know that Tim was already working to support his best friend in the house.

“I was quite taken back by that because even though we had the expectation that Tim and Drew would be working together, he was making remarks like ‘Maybe Drew needs to go’,” Estelle explains.

“I believed that Tim and I were working together and making moves, but he’d planted enough reasonable doubt for me to start to reconsider our working relationship as I felt like he was making moves against me.

“I had to start questioning my trust in Tim which tore me apart because I love him so much.”

Tim is renowned for his clever, manipulative game play. Is he on team Estelle or team Drew? Only time will tell.
