Stranger Things season 4 spoilers follow.
Stranger Things star Joseph Quinn has addressed a possible return for Eddie Munson in the show’s fifth season.
The character, who is the leader of the Hellfire Club, was introduced in the newly-released first half of season four of the Netflix series and has quickly become a fan favourite.
Witness to Chrissy Cunningham’s death – the first among a number of grisly supernatural killings in Hawkins – Munson spends most of the episodes on the run after being falsely accused of her murder.

However, Quinn has suggested in a new interview with Digital Spy that fans haven’t seen the last of his character, as he expects to return to the role in the future.
Asked if he will be back for season 5, he replied: “Oh, yeah, I think so. I can’t see why not. I’d be furious if they’re not bringing me back.”
Meanwhile, ahead of season four’s release, Netflix added a content warning before episode one following the tragic shooting in Uvalde, Texas, with the season’s eight-minute preview also removed from its YouTube page.

Adding the words: “Warning: Contains graphic violence involving children”, the warning card goes on to note: “We filmed this season of Stranger Things a year ago. But given the recent tragic shooting at a school in Texas, viewers may find the opening scene of episode 1 distressing.
“We are deeply saddened by this unspeakable violence, and our hearts go out to every family mourning a loved one.”
Stranger Things season 4 will premiere in two parts, on May 27 and July 1 – streaming on Netflix.
