Exciting filly short odds in the Lonhro Plate

Sicilian heads the Ladbrokes.com.au market for the opener at Randwick this afternoon, the Lonhro Plate (1000m).

The GaiBott trained filly ran a very good race on debut during the Spring in the Gimcrack behind stablemate Platinum Jubilee, with that form clearly reading well for this. She holds the call at $2.60.

Mexico resumes for Michael Freedman and is being kept safe on the second line of betting at $3.20, just clear of Madeira Sunrise at $3.40, with J Mac electing to ride it over Sicilian it would appear.
