Ex-Eagles Super Bowl MVP Nick Foles comes off the bench for Bears vs. Falcons. How did he do?

If you had Week 3 in the Nick Foles pool, collect your winnings.

And if you’re an Eagles fan who believes general manager Howie Roseman traded away the wrong quarterback, and you have been praying to the football gods to somehow bring Foles back to Philly, fuhgeddaboudit.

He ain’t coming back.

On Sunday, after the Chicago Bears fell behind the Atlanta Falcons by 16 points in the third quarter, Foles — the greatest backup quarterback since Jeff Hostetler — came off the bench.

Trubisky, who was sacked twice, had completed 13-of-21 passes for 128 yards and a touchdown before he was removed. The struggling offense had converted 1-of-7 third downs.

Now the only question that remains: Is the switch permanent?

Foles was 3-of-7 for 38 yards and an interception in his first series — then led the Bears to an apparent TD on a 17-yard pass to Anthony Miller, but on review, officials ruled Miller dropped the fourth-down pass with 10:43 remaining in the game.

Foles reclaimed his TD pass with a 3-yard toss to tight end Jimmy Graham with 6:21 remaining, cutting the Falcons’ lead to 26-16. Foles’ 2-point conversion pass fell incomplete.

For many, it was just a matter of time before Foles — the guy who led the Eagles to their only Super Bowl championship — would take the job from Trubisky, who has spent his career balancing on a tightrope between potential and bust.

Remember: The Bears drafted Trubisky with the second pick in 2017, instead of Patrick Mahomes, chosen by the Kansas City Chiefs at No. 10, or DeShaun Watson, chosen by the Houston Texans at No. 12.

Somehow, Trubisky won the training camp battle and then saved his job with three fourth-quarter TD passes in Week 1 victory over the Detroit Lions.

In Week 2, Trubisky had two interceptions against the Giants while being sacked four times in a 17-13 victory.
