Former Chelsea manager Lampard has identified Coady as someone his club should sign before the transfer window slams shut.
According to Alan Myers, the Everton boss admires Coady’s experience and subsequently feels it would be a good addition to his squad.
Coady is the captain of Wolverhampton Wanderers and has made 152 Premier League appearances.
The 29-year-old is both experienced and durable, playing all 38 games of the Wolves’ Premier League campaign last season.

Coady is also an England international, appearing 10 times under Gareth Southgate.
Wolves’ £20.5m acquisition of Burnley defender Nathan Collins could prove to be the key which could allow Coady to leave if Everton submit a bid.
Everton have already added James Tarkowski and Dwight McNeil from Burnley, and signed ex-Wolves man Ruben Vinagre on loan from Sporting Lisbon.
However, bearing in mind their struggles last season and the £60m loss of key forward Richarlison to Tottenham, this season could once again prove tricky for The Toffees.

Other reports have indicated Lampard is eyeing up as many as four additions from Chelsea with the highly sought-after Armando Broja and former midfielder Ross Barkley among them.
