Eric Bailly Has Turned Into A Pre-Season Playmaker, Produces Insane Run And Assist For Marcus Rashford
Bailly #Bailly
Eric Bailly’s ridiculous pre-season exploits continued for Manchester United against Melbourne Victory, with the Ivorian producing an incredible run and assist.
Bailly was the talk of the town earlier this week after conjuring up a sensational second-half display for United in the 4-0 win over Liverpool in Bangkok, Thailand.
The former Villarreal man came on for the second half in the 4-0 win, which was Erik ten Hag’s first game in charge.
In United’s second pre-season outing, Bailly was his usual crazy self and temporarily transitioned into a playmaking centre-back for Marcus Rashford’s goal.
He picked up the ball on the halfway line and maruded forwards before picking out Rashford’s run with a delightfully threaded through ball.
The United No.10 was sent through one-on-one and supplied the finish to put his side 3-1 up in the 78th minute.
And fans could not get enough of another utterly insane passage of play from Bailly:
There’s never a dull moment when Bailly is on the pitch. He can go from composed to calamitous in a matter of seconds but is undoubtedly one of the most entertaining players to watch because you’re not quite sure what he’s going to do next.
Prior to his assist, he very nearly set up a Victory goal with a horribly sliced pass that forced Tom Heaton to rush out of his goal.
Bailly has struggled for fitness and regular game-time in recent seasons, with his future still up in the air at Old Trafford.
