Elon Musk’s ex-wife, the actress Talulah Riley, was reportedly among the business and tech VIPs who exchanged texts with the billionaire as he pushed for a Twitter takeover.

Riley, 37, is the person identified as “TJ” in texts that were made public as part of legal proceedings in Musk’s $44 billion legal battle Twitter, Bloomberg reported, citing multiple people familiar with the matter. Riley’s middle name is Jane.

The newly uncovered texts revealed that Riley encouraged Musk, 51, to buy Twitter and overhaul its moderation policies. The actress also expressed her views on political issues, including her desire to combat which she referred to as “woke-ism.”

“Can you buy Twitter and then delete it, please!? xx,” Riley — whose many acting credits appearances in HBO’s “Westworld” and the 2010 movie “Inception” — wrote in one text dated March 23.

“Please do something to fight woke-ism.” she wrote in another text, “I will do anything to help! xx.”

Riley also decried Twitter’s decision to permanently ban the account belonging to right-wing satirical site The Babylon Bee, which was de-platformed after the outlet refused to delete a tweet referring to Rachel Levine, the transgender Biden administration official, as “man of the year.”

Riley referred to The Babylon Bee’s suspension as “crazy,” according to Bloomberg.

“Raiyah and I were talking about it today,” Riley said. “It was a f–king joke. Why has everyone become so puritanical?”

The “Raiyah” in Riley’s text refers to Raiyah Bint Al-Hussein, the Princess of Jordan, the outlet.

Troves of Musk’s text messages were published ahead of the trial in Delaware Chancery Court later this month. Twitter is seeking a court order that would compel Musk to honor the terms of his original agreement to buy the company at $54.20 per share, while Musk is attempting to back out of the deal without paying a dime.

Musk and Riley have been married twice. The pair first tied the knot in 2010 and divorced in 2012, then reunited in 2013 only to divorce a second time in 2016.

Musk has been sharply critical of Twitter’s content moderation policies. He had pledged to remake the platform to affirm free speech before backing out of the deal over concerns about its number of spam bots.

Musk also sat for a podcast interview with The Babylon Bee last December.

Aside from Riley, notable figures with whom Musk exchanged texts during his lengthy saga with Twitter included the company’s ex-CEO Jack Dorsey, Oracle co-founder Larry Ellison and tech investor Marc Andreessen, among others.
