Elliot Sloan never ceases to amaze us. The fact that he has this set up in his backyard hardly even gives him an advantage over anyone else, either—it kind of just makes him crazier.

When most of us head out to go skate, there’s a lot less floating going on. Maybe it’s a fun little slappy session, a roll through your local park, a mellow ledge…something? Anything but this. But that’s why Elliot is Elliot.

“Stoked to make this one the other day,” he wrote on Instagram. “Only done this one other time.” I love how he lets us know he’s only done this one other time. For two reasons.

One, because it looks insane and I’d expect this to sort of be a one, maybe two time thing. And two, because at the same time, I hardly ever know what’s going on with tricks like this…so it’s nice to know this is as seemingly hard as it looks!

Never one to settle, Elliot is fearlessly proving what’s physically possible on a skateboard every time he steps on his. Progression. Innovation. It’s all happening right there in his backyard.

It takes a certain kind of skater to always be ripping on this level. You need a specific spark to drop in and battle tricks like this every day, but that’s why he’s undeniably one of the greats. Can’t wait to see what he hits us with next.
