Freddie Slater (Bobby Brazier) was a man on a mission in the most recent installment of EastEnders, as he set about pulling together the perfect winning pub quiz team.

He first set his sights on aunty Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace), who took offence when he suggested that she’d know a lot about the seventies.

However, his plight soon garnered the attention of Reiss Colwell (Jonny Freeman) who suggested that he and Sonia Fowler (Natalie Cassidy) join the team.

Freddie wasn’t having it though, as he insisted that it was a Slater only team.

Later, he joined Bobby Beale (Clay Milner Russell) at work in the chip shop, where he was seen making a secret phone call.

He admitted that a ‘local boffin’ was starting a new rival quiz team and that he needed all the help he could get.

When Bobby asked who was on the phone, Freddie revealed that it was his secret weapon, before inviting a thrilled Bobby to join too.

It looked like Freddie’s secret weapon would come in handy as the Slaters gathered to prepare for the quiz.

Their lack of knowledge left Freddie with his head physically in his hands and fearing for their success at first, though soon things turned around as Eve Unwin (Heather Peace) managed to get some answers right.

With Freddie relying on his secret weapon to see him to victory, we were left wondering who the surprise team member could actually be.

Show boss Chris Clenshaw recently told the Loose Women that there is ‘every chance that Little Mo could pop back to Walford’, seeing as son Freddie is now back in the Square.

Could Little Mo be Freddie’s secret weapon?

Perhaps not, as actress Kacey Ainsworth admitted last week that she is too busy to return to the BBC soap right now, though she wouldn’t rule out an appearance in future.

So who else could it be?

A recent storyline for Freddie saw him confront an old teacher who picked on him as a child, and eventually receiving an apology.

Mr Hawthorne tracked Freddie down after their set to and admitted that he suspected he had ADHD, promising to support Freddie should he choose to go about getting a diagnosis.

With Mr Hawthorne being a teacher, presumably with extensive general knowledge, could Freddie have nabbed him for the team?
