Eagles vs. Bills score: Live updates, game stats, highlights, analysis for NFL Week 12 showdown
Josh Allen #JoshAllen
PHILADELPHIA — The Josh Allen show has not disappointed in Philadelphia. The Bills quarterback has shown off his big arm with a touchdown pass coupled with a touchdown run as Buffalo leads the Philadelphia Eagles 17-7 at halftime.
Allen has four impressive throws that reminded everyone why he’s a top-five quarterback. His 19-yard pass to Gabe Davis set up his 9-yard touchdown run to give the Bills a 10-7 lead. Allen also had another throw down the seam to Khalil Shakir that went for 32 yards in the first half.
He also hit Stefon Diggs on a third-and-6 for 23 yards on the drive, which should have resulted in points. Hasson Reddick sacked Josh Allen and forced an intentional grounding in the red zone and Jalen Carter tipped Tyler Bass’ 34-yard field-goal attempt — resulting in a miss.
Jalen Hurts has a rushing touchdown — the 36th of his career — but has struggled throwing the ball. Hurts is 4 of 11 for 33 yards with a 7.0 passer rating, and also threw an interception on a tipped pass that set up Allen with a short field (and also set up Buffalo to take the lead). Hurts has five carries for 23 yards and a fumble, totaling two giveaways in the first half — both in own territory.
The second fumble was costly as Allen worked with a short field and found Diggs for 13-yard touchdown with 12 seconds left in the first half to give Buffalo a 17-7 lead. The Bills have 14 points off two Eagles turnovers.
The Eagles don’t have Lane Johnson in this one, as the star tackle was a late scratch with a groin injury.
