Eagles lost one of their best rookies for playoffs, Jalen Hurts, A.J. Brown also injured

The loss of the game didn’t matter that much, although the manner in which the Eagles were beaten by the nothing-to-play-for Giants was more disturbing evidence leading to the belief that an early playoff exit is awaiting them.

More devastating was the fact that the Eagles kept losing players in the midst of their 27-10 loss to a team they had dominated for more than a decade. Worse still, two of the injured players were the Eagles’ biggest offensive stars — quarterback Jalen Hurts and wide receiver A.J. Brown.
