The free-falling Philadelphia Eagles look to gather themselves for a playoff run, beginning with a Monday night matchup as the No. 5 seed against the No. 4 Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the NFC Wild Card Round of the 2024 NFL Playoffs. At their best, the Eagles have a dominant duo in wideouts A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith, a dual-threat weapon in quarterback Jalen Hurts, and stout line play on both sides. Those strengths haven’t shown in nearly two months, which has coach Nick Sirianni and his staff ready to feel fans’ wrath with an early playoff exit.

Tampa Bay scratched and clawed on both sides of the ball with a defense that gave up the 11th-most yards (344.2 ypg) but only the seventh-fewest points (19.1) in the NFL and an offense behind cast-aside quarterback Baker Mayfield that did its job in keeping the team in games and finding ways to win them.
